AICE Media studies

  Pitch 1: Four friends on a vacation trip, friend that plans the trip also plans to kill everyone attending.  We would be able to do this movie because we already have a planned idea of where we can shoot our scenes and how everything would be set up. My group and I are familiar with movies with this kind of plot so we know how everything would play out. Some problems we would have with this movie is meeting up together at this location since we do not all live near it and because of our schedules outside of school. A second problem would be Florida weather, since some of our scenes are outdoors.   Although it isn't  the same group since were missing our final partner Demaine, regardless my group consists of two members excluding myself. We have Nicole, and Jordyn. They are all individually good students that will always get their work done by the due date. I feel very comfortable with them in my group. By working with them for a whole year by sitting with them I've been able to asses their strengths and weaknesses in these different media studies project aspects. Nicole is a somewhat procrastinator, but in the end she always pulls through and finishes her work, while also taking care of her brother.   Welcome back! My name is Pedro Ribeiro, I'm a student here at Fort Lauderdale high. I'm 17 years old and this is my second year taking media studies. This had been one of my favorite electives last year. I really like the teachers, they both understand what a student cares about and what it's like from a students shoes. Although they both have strong and loud voices, you can tell they really care for us and just want us to pass at the end of the course. I don't have many consistent hobbies. I was boxing for over a year but it all got too repetitive for me so I ended up stop going. School is now holding soccer tryouts so hopefully I'm able to make it in. All my friends have said that it is pretty easy to get in this year so it looks like school soccer will be my next hobby. I live with my mom, sister, and step-dad, we've been living together for about 6 years now. My dad lives far West in California so I don't get to visit him regularly. I have 6 dogs right...

 The end has struck, we had a long road ahead of us, but we persevered. From having partners who don't contribute to having partners who do everything. My crew and I are ecstatic for everyone to witness the video we put so much effort into. We have learnt a lot along the way, even if it isn't the greatest. We've learnt a lot from one other as a group that we can apply in our daily lives to keep moving forward. Aside from that, we hope everyone enjoys this film. We invested a lot of time and work into this film, and we hope it paid off. We aim to learn more next year and build on what we've learnt as this is the last project of the year. My colleagues and I will be extremely anxious around this time due to approaching testing. It will be a relief to have this burden removed from our shoulders. My group and I worked on our film in class. We talked about what modifications we thought needed to be made before we started. My colleagues and I showed our video to strangers last week. They offered us their feedback on how they liked our film and what modifications they thought should be made once they had seen it. We reviewed which adjustments we could and couldn't change as the group went around discussing what changes they were told to make. Many users claimed that the sound was an issue, and that it was difficult to hear specific parts of the actor or actress. Damaine did his best to improve the volume, but it couldn't be adjusted completely without re-filming everything. The editing was also brought to our attention as a concern. We'd have to fix it because some people thought it looked choppy. Damaine corrected what he could as the rest of the crew and I stood behind him, watching what he was doing.
