AICE Media studies

  Pitch 1: Four friends on a vacation trip, friend that plans the trip also plans to kill everyone attending.  We would be able to do this movie because we already have a planned idea of where we can shoot our scenes and how everything would be set up. My group and I are familiar with movies with this kind of plot so we know how everything would play out. Some problems we would have with this movie is meeting up together at this location since we do not all live near it and because of our schedules outside of school. A second problem would be Florida weather, since some of our scenes are outdoors. We are currently leaning more towards this pitch.  Pitch 2: Four roommates notice an off presence in the home, call medium, are told that someone died in this house years ago and wants to kill anyone who stays in the home.  This pitch was an option that seemed okay at first, but then after reviewing it with the group it was not something that was completely suitable for the entirety of the gr

  Although it isn't  the same group since were missing our final partner Demaine, regardless my group consists of two members excluding myself. We have Nicole, and Jordyn. They are all individually good students that will always get their work done by the due date. I feel very comfortable with them in my group. By working with them for a whole year by sitting with them I've been able to asses their strengths and weaknesses in these different media studies project aspects. Nicole is a somewhat procrastinator, but in the end she always pulls through and finishes her work, while also taking care of her brother. Another problem we run into with Nicole too is that she also has a job, Nicole works at Pollo Tropical which is a popular chicken/Hispanic restaurant chain here in America, thankfully Nicole's hours are more stretchable than which means more free time for filming, editing, etc. Lastly Jordyn, I've been witness to her magic all through our previous year and i can aff

  Welcome back! My name is Pedro Ribeiro, I'm a student here at Fort Lauderdale high. I'm 17 years old and this is my second year taking media studies. This had been one of my favorite electives last year. I really like the teachers, they both understand what a student cares about and what it's like from a students shoes. Although they both have strong and loud voices, you can tell they really care for us and just want us to pass at the end of the course. I don't have many consistent hobbies. I was boxing for over a year but it all got too repetitive for me so I ended up stop going. School is now holding soccer tryouts so hopefully I'm able to make it in. All my friends have said that it is pretty easy to get in this year so it looks like school soccer will be my next hobby. I live with my mom, sister, and step-dad, we've been living together for about 6 years now. My dad lives far West in California so I don't get to visit him regularly. I have 6 dogs right
