End of production

The end has struck, we had a long road ahead of us, but we persevered. From having partners who don't contribute to having partners who do everything. My crew and I are ecstatic for everyone to witness the video we put so much effort into. We have learnt a lot along the way, even if it isn't the greatest. We've learnt a lot from one other as a group that we can apply in our daily lives to keep moving forward. Aside from that, we hope everyone enjoys this film. We invested a lot of time and work into this film, and we hope it paid off. We aim to learn more next year and build on what we've learnt as this is the last project of the year. My colleagues and I will be extremely anxious around this time due to approaching testing. It will be a relief to have this burden removed from our shoulders. My team and I are hoping to study together and pass our upcoming exam with flying colors. We hope to return next year with all of the necessary information to put on an even greate

Film review changes

My group and I worked on our film in class. We talked about what modifications we thought needed to be made before we started. My colleagues and I showed our video to strangers last week. They offered us their feedback on how they liked our film and what modifications they thought should be made once they had seen it. We reviewed which adjustments we could and couldn't change as the group went around discussing what changes they were told to make. Many users claimed that the sound was an issue, and that it was difficult to hear specific parts of the actor or actress. Damaine did his best to improve the volume, but it couldn't be adjusted completely without re-filming everything. The editing was also brought to our attention as a concern. We'd have to fix it because some people thought it looked choppy. Damaine corrected what he could as the rest of the crew and I stood behind him, watching what he was doing. He also edited out certain sections that we thought were unneeded

Wrapping up editing

My group and I were almost done! The clips were a touch longer than anticipated, but we were able to easily correct it. We figured out how to divide the screen into four separate screens, and it looks fantastic!! Is the movie flawless? No. Is it going to be perfect? Probably not, but it isn't bad. There is still reason to be optimistic. Of course, we can tidy things up until it's to our taste. Damaine has already removed the extraneous and lengthy scenes, but I'm worried it isn't enough. We simply misjudged everything and filmed a bit extra as a result. I believe we can save time by eliminating some of the effects. We've scheduled Thursday just in case we need to reshoot. I don't want to if I don't have to, but we may have to. All I want to see is the finished result. All of the planning and effort was condensed into just two minutes. Although looking at the finished product was entertaining, we quickly realized we couldn't leave it there. In my perspec

Film review

Today was the day to show our movie off for some critical reflection. Even though our movie isn't completely edited yet our group had someone specifically to review our movies for us. Personally I had my sister review our movie. Some people might think this is biased and she wont give me a bad review but my sister will critique every thing I do wrong so she will be the perfect person for reviewing the movie. So starting off the movie normally we were at the parking lot at target. She didn't specifically say anything about that. But one scene she says how the camera is off angle with the following shot which is suppose to be in the same area. I took that critique and wrote it down to share with my group later. After that I resumed the movie, for a good 30 seconds she doesn't say anything and keeps watching the movie. As were nearing the unedited portion of our movie she points out that the background sound behind the middle portion of our movie is way too loud compared to t
