 Ext. STREET - NIGHT

Junie running down the street after a drug deal gone

Wrong, running away from the police.


Pietra pulls up in her car slamming on her breaks. 


Pietra:

    Get in!

Cut To: Car

INT. CAR - NIGHT

Junie gets into Pietra’s car not knowing who she is.


Junie:

(out of breath)

    Thank you. 

Pietra:

(smile on face)

Yeah Yeah, no problem. 

Luigi comes from the back seat and puts the bag over Junie’s head. 

Cut To: Backyard

EXT. BACKYARD - DAY

Pietra takes the bag off Junie’s head. 


Junie:

  (coughing)

Damn it smelled bad.

Luigi:

Do you know who we are?


Junie looks back and forth at Pietra and Luigi. 


Junie:

Am I supposed to?


Pietra pulls a small baggie out of her pocket.


Pietra:

Do you know what this is?

Junie shakes her head no. 


Pietra goes up to her and puts the bag in her face.


Pietra:

Recognize it now?


Junie:

    I said no.


Pietra steps back next to Luigi.


Pietra:

(in Portuguese, subtitled)

Who does she think she is? Does she 

think we are stupid?


Luigi:

(in Portuguese, subtitled)

She thinks we don’t know who she is. 


Junie:

Um hello, English please. 


Luigi:

What is your name?


Junie:

It’s Junie, why?


Pietra:

No, your real name. 


Junie:

Look, you don’t have to believe me 

but you have to let me go.


Pietra:

Well Sydner, you won’t be 

leaving here until you tell us what 

you have done with our money.

Junie:

Your money? What money?


Luigi:

The money you made selling our drugs.


Junie stares with a shocked look on her face.


CUT TO: Close up shot


Junie:

  (yelling)

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! I don’t sell

drugs! I don’t even take drugs. You have

the wrong person!


Luigi:

Then why were you running from the cops?


Junie realizes she got caught and makes a face.


Junie:

(trying to scooch away in chair)

Well, you see what happened was.


CUT TO: talk room


Junie:

Well.. I got caught. Tell my momma 

I love her.

CUT TO: backyard


Pietra and Luigi attack Junie for lying.


CUT TO: talk room


Cameraman:

(behind the camera)

You alright? What happened to your

Face?


Junie:

(confused with black eye)

What are you talking about?


CUT TO: backyard

Luigi goes behind Junie with a knife to cut rope around

her wrists.


Pietra:

(holding a backpack)

So, what you’re going to do is,

sell these, and gives us the money

back that you owe.


Luigi walks back beside Pietra.


Junie looks through the bag. 


Luigi:

You have a month.


Junie:

A month?! That’s not enough time

to sell all of this.


Pietra shrugs her shoulders.


Pietra:

Oh well, get it done.

You can leave now.


Junie gets up, grabs the bag,and walks out of the house

where she was brought.


CUT TO: talk room


Junie:

Now how in the world do they expect 

me to sell all of this.

Junie shakes the bag towards the camera.


Pierta:

I don’t know why she wouldn’t be able

to do it. Luigi and i sell that in a 

week. That’s embarrassing actually.


Pietra gets up and walks away while she says the last sentence.


CUT TO: front of the house


EXT. FRONT OF THE HOUSE - EVENING


Junie leaves the house on foot not knowing where she is.


CUT TO: days over time


Over days and weeks, Junie tries to sell what has been 

given to her to friends and others, while trying to 

not get caught by the police.


Junie’s phone rings from an unknown caller.


Junie:

(answers phone)

    Hello?


Luigi:

(on the phone)

Do you have my money yet?


Pietra:

  (in the back)

    OUR MONEY!


Luigi:

Yea yea, our money.


Junie:

I don’t have it yet, but- 


Luigi cuts Junie off. 


Luigi:

You have one week.


Luigi hangs up the phone.


Junie: 

But I - hello? Hello? Did he just

hang up on me? He’s so sassy.


Junie stares at the bag with what she is supposed

to sell.


Junie:

How am I supposed to sell this?


CUT TO: inside car

INT. CAR - DAY


Luigi and Pietra sitting in a car.


Luigi:

Now you know you gave her too much

Product.


Pietra:

Ahh, I could sell all of that in a 

week, she’s about to hit a month.


Luigi starts the car and they drive past Junie

on the side of the road.


CUT TO: Junie on the street


EXT. OUTSIDE - DAY 


A random man comes up to Junie in oversized 

clothing.



Man:

Yo. What you got in the bag?


Junie takes a step back, frightened.  


Junie:

Nothing. Please go away. 


Man:

Nah, I know you have something in

In the back. C’mon now don’t be stingy.


Junie:

Bro I don't have anything in the bag.


The man reaches for the bag, Junie steps back and 

hits the man with the heavy backpack.


Junie gasps realizing what she has done.


Junie:

Uh oh. Ummm, well. 


Junie walks away with the bag leaving the man on the

ground. 


CUT TO: PIETRA AND LUIGI IN CAR

Luigi

Do you think we were too hard on her? She’s just a kid.

Pietra

You always do this. She’ll be fine- besides, it’ll show her not to mess with us. Call her.


Luigi calls Junie

Junie

What do you want?


Luigi

I want-

Pietra cuts him off

Pietra

My money!! Tomorrow. 11 PM at the park. Don't play with me.


Junie

I still have two days left though??

Pietra

Not anymore! See you tomorrow June bug! If you try ANYTHING I’ll make sure you never see that brother of yours, What’s his name again? Dylan? 


Junie

You wouldn’t.


Pietra

11 PM tomorrow, bye!


CUT TO: JUNIE IN COUCH ROOM - IN


Junie

Who does she think she is? Oh she’ll see me tomorrow for sure. 

Junie calls the police


OUT- NIGHT

Pietra and Luigi are in the car waiting for Junie.


Pietra

Where is this girl? It’s 10:55


Luigi

She has five minutes. Give her a second.


Pietra

I gave her a month?!


Luigi checks his watch. 


Luigi:

Okay it’s 11:15. She’s late now. 


Pietra:

See, I told you we shouldn’t have done this,

now she’s causing problems.


Luigi:

It’s fine we’ll go find her.


Pietra:

Exactly, go get the car. 


Luigi and Pietra hear sirens from a distance. 


Luigi:

What’s that?

Pietra:

Police sirens, we’re good. Let’s go


Police cars surround Luigi and Pietra as they try to

get to the car. 


Pietra:

No effin way. 


Luigi:

No way. She ratted. 


Pietra:

Oh I’ll kill her. 


Junie gets out of the cop car. 


Junie:

There officer, those are the two that

Threatened me and made me sell the drugs.


Pietra tries to jump at Junie and the cop pulls her back.


Junie takes a step back. 

Luigi:

         You rat!


Pietra:

You’ll die for this. 


Junie stands and watches as the two get arrested.

Genre Research: Comedy

  My group and I are also researching comedy. As much as we want action, we also need to laugh. A comedy would also be a lot easier for us since we can just be ourselves. Comedy movies have a lot of close- ups, pans, long shots, and zooms. Close ups allow you to lead your audience into a more intimate setting. You can literally bring your audience closer to the action. And it emphasizes the importance of what we see. But as the push continues, it all breaks, letting viewers know they're watching a comedy movie.Long shots  give an overall context to the scene and usually lets viewers know that what we’re seeing right now isn’t the whole picture... until it zooms all the way out. Static shots, or stand still shots, build suspense. In comedy movies it allows room for the characters to correct themselves or something, Almost like a "wait for it" moment.    Props Being that our commercial is an Apple Watch commercial, our main prop will be the Apple Watch. However we will also have different color Apple Watch bands as well as props aswell Costumes We have came up with these costumes to flow with the message we are trying to portray of the apple watch within that scene. Therefore, two of us will be exempliying the athletics perks of the Apple Watch, by wearing athletic clothing, to show the health and workout benefits of the watch. Another scene will include one of us wearing a really nice outfit, which may include, but is not limited to a nice shirt, jeans and some nice shows. This will help show the customization part of the watch and how stylist it can be and easy access it can. Film review changes

My group and I worked on our film in class. We talked about what modifications we thought needed to be made before we started. My colleagues and I showed our video to strangers last week. They offered us their feedback on how they liked our film and what modifications they thought should be made once they had seen it. We reviewed which adjustments we could and couldn't change as the group went around discussing what changes they were told to make. Many users claimed that the sound was an issue, and that it was difficult to hear specific parts of the actor or actress. Damaine did his best to improve the volume, but it couldn't be adjusted completely without re-filming everything. The editing was also brought to our attention as a concern. We'd have to fix it because some people thought it looked choppy. Damaine corrected what he could as the rest of the crew and I stood behind him, watching what he was doing. He also edited out certain sections that we thought were unneeded ...
