Filming day continuation
First to really capture the image that we wanted with the music video, we had to put thoughts into our outfits (costumes). So for my character, he is suppose to be the "cool guy-rapper" that can get all the girls and is overall "cool guy". For Alejandros character, he is the typical guy that is not bad looking but doesn't have the proper tools to be with the girls. Our goal in our costumes was to represent these two characters very diligently. So for myself I did some research on a rapper look which is what I was going for, I looked at rappers like Drake, Lil baby, and Future, who are all respected very well in the trap community. The final look was some black skinny jeans, a "designer" belt, Jordans, and a all black tee. Alejandro had to somewhat dress like a anti-social but updated on trends type of person. Alejandro went with some joggers, a branded shirt, and some slides, an overall casual vibe. Next to pick up where we left off we had one last location to hit before we called it a day. At first we were planning to film in this spot at Fort Lauderdale beach where there is a basketball court, gym, and well the beach. This location would've been ideal for us. But unexpectedly there was a festival occurring at the exact spot we needed to record. It was a big event and there was no way we could record in there. So in the spot we would have to improvise and find a different place in the beach to record. Eventually we found somewhere to proceed recording and finish up our scenes. The first thing we recorded was Alejandros part where we see him getting rejected and ignored by this girl. Also we shoot a scene of him looking at the "cool" character and wishes he was him. Then the last scene we shot was where the "cool" character lip syncs over the music. After we shot everything we needed we got picked up and we went our ways.
