Finishing the editing

 Today we came to an end with our editing. With our school having PSAT's today we were working on limited time. Today me and my groupmates had a plan to execute that would guarantee that we would finish editing on time. After we got our music and effects down last class we planned on aligning the clips together. We first started with my clip, as said in a previous blog we had me running in the track with the apple watch. We wanted to align the music with the moment in the clip where I was started to run. Then we moved on to the rest of the clips that made up the scene. After we'd put them all together we realized that my scene alone would take too much time from the commercial so we realized we had to cut some clips up. We cut the clips but you could still understand the message we tried to get across. We had the Alejandro test clip next. As before realized we would have to cut his scene up too. Initially we had a scene where Alejandro would get his test scores back but we had to cut that. So Alejandros scene now is a bit unclear. Then we had the band shots which took time lining up the clips with the music in the back. After we were done with that there was only one thing left. The final scene, we again had to line up the music with the shot. And to finalize it we added text that said "the future of health and style on your wrist." And at that point all we had to do was double check if everything was okay with the edits, then class ended on a good note in a good day.iMovie on the App Store

  My group and I are also researching comedy. As much as we want action, we also need to laugh. A comedy would also be a lot easier for us since we can just be ourselves. Comedy movies have a lot of close- ups, pans, long shots, and zooms. Close ups allow you to lead your audience into a more intimate setting. You can literally bring your audience closer to the action. And it emphasizes the importance of what we see. But as the push continues, it all breaks, letting viewers know they're watching a comedy movie.Long shots  give an overall context to the scene and usually lets viewers know that what we’re seeing right now isn’t the whole picture... until it zooms all the way out. Static shots, or stand still shots, build suspense. In comedy movies it allows room for the characters to correct themselves or something, Almost like a "wait for it" moment.    Props Being that our commercial is an Apple Watch commercial, our main prop will be the Apple Watch. However we will also have different color Apple Watch bands as well as props aswell Costumes We have came up with these costumes to flow with the message we are trying to portray of the apple watch within that scene. Therefore, two of us will be exempliying the athletics perks of the Apple Watch, by wearing athletic clothing, to show the health and workout benefits of the watch. Another scene will include one of us wearing a really nice outfit, which may include, but is not limited to a nice shirt, jeans and some nice shows. This will help show the customization part of the watch and how stylist it can be and easy access it can. Film review changes

My group and I worked on our film in class. We talked about what modifications we thought needed to be made before we started. My colleagues and I showed our video to strangers last week. They offered us their feedback on how they liked our film and what modifications they thought should be made once they had seen it. We reviewed which adjustments we could and couldn't change as the group went around discussing what changes they were told to make. Many users claimed that the sound was an issue, and that it was difficult to hear specific parts of the actor or actress. Damaine did his best to improve the volume, but it couldn't be adjusted completely without re-filming everything. The editing was also brought to our attention as a concern. We'd have to fix it because some people thought it looked choppy. Damaine corrected what he could as the rest of the crew and I stood behind him, watching what he was doing.
