First filming day for music video

 On the 5th of December we started producing our music video by filming key scenes. When the day started me and Alejandro already previously arranged this day as our filming day. We first met up at the Galleria mall, there we had a couple of scenes to do with our main characters "glow up". We first started filming by a Macy's where we did a over the shoulder shot of our main character looking up at the store and then proceeding to walk in. After that we walked over to this show store called finish line to shoot yet another shot similar to the first where we had our main character over-looking the stores entrance. Next we went to a clothing store called pacsun to shoot a scene where the main character is looking and trying new clothes. After we shot all that we were done with our scenes in the mall. We did have to wait for Alejandros mom to pick us up to go to our next filming location. While waiting me and Alejandro went over to the food court in the mall to grab something to eat, we got fries and these lemonades that Alejandro recommended me. Eventually we got picked up to go to our next filming location which was the park. All that we had to do at the park was have Alejandro (main character) make a couple of shots in the basketball hoop. While this isn't an especially hard task it did take a while. After we were done again we had to wait to get picked up. While waiting me and Alejandro played a couple games of basketball. It was a complete blowout, Alejandro did not stand a chance. After that we had one more stop that will be covered next time.

Genre Research: Comedy

  My group and I are also researching comedy. As much as we want action, we also need to laugh. A comedy would also be a lot easier for us since we can just be ourselves. Comedy movies have a lot of close- ups, pans, long shots, and zooms. Close ups allow you to lead your audience into a more intimate setting. You can literally bring your audience closer to the action. And it emphasizes the importance of what we see. But as the push continues, it all breaks, letting viewers know they're watching a comedy movie.Long shots  give an overall context to the scene and usually lets viewers know that what we’re seeing right now isn’t the whole picture... until it zooms all the way out. Static shots, or stand still shots, build suspense. In comedy movies it allows room for the characters to correct themselves or something, Almost like a "wait for it" moment.    Props Being that our commercial is an Apple Watch commercial, our main prop will be the Apple Watch. However we will also have different color Apple Watch bands as well as props aswell Costumes We have came up with these costumes to flow with the message we are trying to portray of the apple watch within that scene. Therefore, two of us will be exempliying the athletics perks of the Apple Watch, by wearing athletic clothing, to show the health and workout benefits of the watch. Another scene will include one of us wearing a really nice outfit, which may include, but is not limited to a nice shirt, jeans and some nice shows. This will help show the customization part of the watch and how stylist it can be and easy access it can. Film review changes

My group and I worked on our film in class. We talked about what modifications we thought needed to be made before we started. My colleagues and I showed our video to strangers last week. They offered us their feedback on how they liked our film and what modifications they thought should be made once they had seen it. We reviewed which adjustments we could and couldn't change as the group went around discussing what changes they were told to make. Many users claimed that the sound was an issue, and that it was difficult to hear specific parts of the actor or actress. Damaine did his best to improve the volume, but it couldn't be adjusted completely without re-filming everything. The editing was also brought to our attention as a concern. We'd have to fix it because some people thought it looked choppy. Damaine corrected what he could as the rest of the crew and I stood behind him, watching what he was doing.
